The Pioneer program
ApiArk is in open beta and the people using it now are shaping what it becomes. Pioneers run it on real work, say what breaks, and get a direct line to the people building it.
It is a trade, and both halves are written below so you can decide whether it is a fair one.
What you get
- Twelve months of the paid plan, free
- There is no paid plan yet. When one exists, your twelve months start that day, and until then the free plan is what everyone is on. That is a commitment about the future, written down so you can hold us to it.
- A private Slack with the people building it
- Not a support queue. You say what is missing and it goes into the roadmap, or you get told why it will not.
- Features before they are announced
- Experimental work reaches Pioneer accounts first. Some of it will change shape and some of it will be withdrawn.
- Your project shown as a Pioneer project
- If you want it. Nothing is published without you asking for it.
What we ask
- Run it on something real
- A side project or client work, not a throwaway. The bugs that matter only show up under real traffic.
- Tell us when it breaks
- Bug reports and blunt opinions. Silence is worth nothing to us and a polite review is worth less.
- One short survey at the end
- A few questions when the program closes. That is the whole administrative burden.
What this is not
An early-access program with no SLA and no uptime guarantee. Things will break, and when they do you will be among the first to know because you will be the one who found it.
Features may change shape or be withdrawn. Nothing here is a contract except the twelve months, and that one only starts when a paid plan exists.
